ECLIPSE, Simi Valley Soccer Club maintains a simple philosophy:

This philosophy allows individual players to achieve their personal goals in a fun environment that provides encouragement. In turn, our youth players develop a confidence in their abilities on and off the soccer field.

To field competitive soccer teams for boys and girls in age brackets from U9-U19, and create the necessary environment for the individual player to attain their maximum potential. Players, parents, and coaches are expected to maintain the highest level of sportsmanship regardless of game outcomes and opinions on referee performance. We will win with grace and lose with dignity. We will treat our opponents with respect. We will set the standard for great athleticism, team spirit, and sportsmanship. We will promote an environment that is FUN for our players, and encourages family participation. We will represent our organization professionally, and with pride.

In order to expand the capabilities of all ECLIPSE players, our organization structure is as follows: ECLIPSE, Simi Valley Soccer Club is a Nonprofit 501-3C Organization registered in the State of California. We maintain both By-laws and Operating Procedures that govern our organization. Our purpose as an organization is to provide the youth of our area a safe, fun, and organized environment for playing competitive soccer. Teams in our club are provided continuous development of soccer skills at each age level. This is accomplished by seeking out experienced coaches with a record of successfully helping youth to reach their playing potential, providing continuous education programs to those coaches for bettering of their own skills, and providing a total administrative framework to maintain a sound program for these advancements.
